Role of Career Exploration in Influencing Career Choice among Pre-University Student

In the age of innovation, digitalization, and globalization today, deciding to take a career path has been growing challenging. The continues increase its stature as choice, pursued by many in an evolving, unpredictable, competitive marketplace. Students’ general selection process is first step ensuring that human resources align with labor market demands. This study aimed determine role exploration mediator relationship between social support self-efficacy on choices among pre-university students. research quantitative correlational conducted students Agricultural Science Foundation program at Universiti Putra Malaysia. By using simple random sampling, 249 were selected based Cohen’s calculation. researchers used Career Exploration Survey (CES), Multidimensional Scale Perceived Social Support, Decision-Making Self-Efficacy Scale-Short (CDSE-SF), choice instrument surveys measure variables this study. results show acts partial choice. There not only significant but also some direct support, provides basis for reference academicians instructors designing student curriculum choosing career. Teachers are recommended play active initiating activities during their learning process.
